Events

This online session, delivered by Work Hounslow in partnership with Ealing and Hounslow Community and Voluntary Service (EHCVS), introduces young people to the benefits of volunteering and how it can improve their chances of finding paid work. Aimed at those aged 18+ who are not in education, employment or training, the sessions feature guest speakers and showcase current local volunteering and work experience opportunities.

A-level results day will be on Thursday, 13 August, while GCSE results day will be on Thursday, 20 August.
Throughout August, particularly in the days leading up to and following the results day, Hounslow Council will provide enhanced support for school leavers aged 16 to 18, who are uncertain about their next steps or whose plans have changed.

Careers advisors will be available through:
• Drop-in sessions - Hounslow Community Hub and Library, every Tuesday, 3pm - 5pm
• Telephone helpline - call 020 8583 5151, Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm

This is a free event in Hounslow for autistic adults and for anyone wanting to improve the understanding and acceptance of autism in society and services.

The event is about sharing autistic lived experiences so we welcome autistic people and those who seek to learn from autistic people.

Public services representatives have been invited to attend the event and to make a commitment in the afternoon session to ongoing action.
